Following a recent organisational review of one of its aged care facilities, UCWAdelaide is now seeking to appoint an experienced nurse professional to the newly created position of Clinical Care Manager to assist the Director of Nursing in the management of the Aldersgate Aged Care facility, a 115 bed high and low care site. The person we seek for this important role will be a key member of the management team and will be responsible for :-

• providing leadership and management in accordance with organisational philosophy, standards and values;
• evaluating care services and implementing systems to enhance care standards;
• effectively managing human, financial, physical and material resources;
• coordinating care delivery to all residents including those with complex needs;
• providing effective leadership to ensure care documentation reflects current care needs and legislative requirements;
• leading and managing nursing and care staff to ensure services are provided to residents in a manner that enables them to live the life they choose;
• deputising for the Director of Nursing as required.
