This small, fully accredited 47 bed aged care facility is community owned and operated. There is a clear charter to provide quality and personalised services and affordable accommodation to its clients, in an intimate and inclusive environment which promotes dignity and respect. The upcoming retirement of the Director of Nursing (DON) has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dedicated and professional DON to join the team.

Reporting to the Board of Management, the principal responsibility is for the leadership and management of the facility, ensuring professional standards of care and customer service are maintained, as well as assuming responsibility for the financial performance, staffing, quality assurance, accreditation and regulatory requirements.

You may already be a DON or ready to make the step up to that level. Management training will be highly regarded and residential aged care experience is required. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated nurse manager with a genuine commitment to continuous improvement, customer service and quality care to lead the dedicated and friendly team.
