Baptist Care (SA) Inc is an Incorporated Association that has as its sole member, the Baptist Churches of South Australia Inc. With strong values, Baptist Care (SA) encourages, supports, influences and extends the ministries of the churches to create hope, develop skills, alleviate distress, and enrich the lives of people who are aged, suffering, disabled or in need of help.

Due to the pending retirement of the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Board is seeking to appoint a new CEO to build further on the organisation’s success and ethos. Serving as the Executive Officer to the Board and its Committees, key responsibilities include providing creative strategic planning and operational leadership in the development and fulfilment of the mission and vision of Baptist Care (SA), and the effective leadership and management of the ministries and services, people and resources of Baptist Care (SA).

The CEO will have a key leadership role ensuring the successful management and administration of the organisation’s service, commercial and financial activities, risk and corporate governance. A strong focus on the further development of high quality, values based community services will be paramount. In addition, the CEO will be critical in building and maintaining relationships and representing the organisation internally across the Baptist community, and with external agencies including business, government, the general public and the media.

We are seeking an experienced CEO or senior executive who is able to successfully balance the organisation’s service, commercial and financial objectives. The successful candidate will be a strong leader with outstanding management skills, excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing abilities, and commercial acumen. More important however is the commitment to the values and mission of Baptist Care (SA).
