Cancer Council SA (CCSA) is South Australia's leading cancer charity. Its 80 year history of funding high quality cancer research and delivering prevention programs and support for people with cancer has made it one of South Australia’s most respected and trusted charities. Cancer affects one in two people in their lifetime and Cancer Council SA’s work makes a real difference to reducing the impact of cancer. CCSA now seeks to appoint the following crucial role.

This Senior Public Relations role is charged with the responsibility of managing the public profile of one of Australia's most trusted and respected charities here in SA. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and driving innovative strategies to maintain and build community awareness of the crucial work of Cancer Council SA. Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will be an expert in public relations and the media and will be relied upon heavily to steward and build this trusted brand into the future.

Working closely with the research, prevention, support and fundraising teams, you will maximise opportunities to make an impact on cancer. You will be part of a dynamic team within the Business Development Unit and work across the entire organisation and out in the community. Tertiary qualifications in communications, media, public relations or equivalent are essential.
