Growing SA industrial materials business

With Head Office at Osborne, north west of Adelaide, Penrice Soda Products Pty Ltd is the only manufacturer of soda ash in Australia and an expanding producer of sodium bicarbonate with a fast growing limestone mine operation located in the Barossa Valley. Turnover has now risen to above $160m through planned growth in its domestic and international markets and a diverse customer base.

An opportunity has emerged for a proven professional to manage and further develop its Quarry and Mineral business in Angaston. Reporting directly to the MD/CEO and working across the Osborne and Angaston sites, this senior executive role will take responsibility for :-

• setting the strategic agenda for progressive change with a focus on efficiency, high performance culture and business integration;
• designing and developing the strategic plans for ongoing business growth and profitability by proactively identifying and implementing new business growth initiatives;
• managing the finances, assets, systems and logistics for this autonomous business unit with a turnover approaching $40m;
• maintaining and enhancing strong relationships with a diverse range of private, public and community stakeholders;
• contributing to overall Company strategy as a key member of the Executive Management Team.
