A division of one of Australia’s largest and most successful manufacturing organisations with a substantial and growing global presence, Amcor Cartons Australasia is a leading supplier of folding cartons packaging to a wide range of customers in the healthcare, food, beverage and industrial sectors. An exciting new opportunity has emerged to join and add value to this innovative market leader based at its Regency Park site.

Reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager and working closely with the General Manager, you will lead the accounting function for the site. Responsibilities include :-

• product costing, profitability analysis, variance analysis and month end;
• preparing budgets and forecasts;
• ensuring effective cost control and asset management to achieve optimal performance of the business;
• driving continuous improvement across the accounting function and wider business.

The successful candidate will demonstrate commercial acumen, drive, flexibility, resilience and leadership. An excellent analytical ability together with solid MSExcel skills are essential. With appropriate tertiary qualifications, the successful candidate will ideally have achieved CA/CPA status.
