A division of one of Australia’s largest and most successful manufacturing organisations with a substantial and growing global presence, Amcor Cartons Australasia is a leading supplier of folding cartons packaging to a wide range of customers in the healthcare, food, beverage and industrial sectors. An exciting new opportunity has emerged to join and add value to this innovative market leader based at its Regency Park site.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the primary focus of the role is to lead and manage the site’s manufacturing activities on a specified shift to ensure :-

• the highest level of safety is achieved;
• manufacturing supports the best overall business outcome and customer satisfaction;
• product is made on time and to set specifications and KPI’s (cost, quality etc);
• productivity meets and continues to challenge established standards;
• a culture of continuous improvement towards world’s best practice is maintained.

Proven effective frontline management experience, proficiency in production planning processes and a working knowledge of modern manufacturing and supply chain systems is essential. Relevant trade or tertiary training/qualifications in a manufacturing related field will be highly regarded. The shift roster is alternating day-afternoon, Monday to Friday, and an attractive remuneration package commensurate with skills and experience will be offered.
