PROJECT MANAGER
Petrathem Limited
Exciting opportunity in the renewable energy sector
Petratherm Limited, an ASX listed public company based in Adelaide, is at the forefront of the alternative renewable energy sector and has made further advances in the area of engineered geothermal systems technology. Petratherm plans to utilise this alternative renewable energy source to produce large scale, base load electricity, thereby reducing reliance on fossil fuels and reducing carbon dioxide emissions. On target to be Australia’s first commercial geothermal electricity provider, Petratherm has established a Joint Venture arrangement with Beach Energy and TRUenergy Geothermal for its flagship Paralana project in South Australia’s northern Flinders Ranges. It has also secured several geothermal projects in Spain and more recently, an exclusive exploration agreement in China, the world’s largest growing energy market. These developments have created the following exciting opportunity.
Responsible for maintaining and developing key Joint Venture partner relationships, you will oversee and utilise the best design, application and operations of modern day exploration, drilling and development technologies. A major focus is to expand beyond the Paralana project’s ‘Proof of Concept’ to become fully operational in 2011. Exposure to the geothermal or traditional power plant operations or the oil and gas industry will be an advantage. Proven large scale project management, communication and negotiation skills coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications are required.
